ABOUT ME
Daniel Ephgrave is based in London and studied at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, learning flute with Susan Milan and Fiona Kelly. He graduated with Distinction, with one of the highest marks for performance in his year, and was a finalist in the Trinity Flute Competition, Harold Clark Woodwind Competition and a prize-winner in the British Flute Society Flute Competitions 2020 and 2021.
Daniel also doubles on saxophone and clarinet and regularly works with some of the UK’s leading orchestras and ensembles including Orchestra of the Swan, RSC Stratford-Upon-Avon and in London’s West End. He was also appointed sub-principal flute with The Sinfonia Stellaris in 2018, after successfully auditioning for their young graduate scheme in 2017. Daniel has given countless recitals and performances nationwide as a flute soloist, and as part of his other chamber groups
